954.8(1.2k)
Editor's take
A 4.8 rating across 1,160 reviews signals broad love for the remote island beach, wildlife sightings, and shell/snorkel experiences despite limited amenities.
What visitors say
Visitors most often praise the peaceful, beautiful beaches plus manatees/dolphins/shell collecting, with the main caveat being heat and limited facilities.
Egmont Key’s remote, wildlife-focused island beaches deliver big scenery and snorkeling/shelling—no frills, bring your own water, and plan around the ferry and sunrise-to-sunset hours.
