This weekend in Tampa Bay serves up a refreshing mix of nostalgia, wellness, history, and prime eats. Whether you're vibing to early-2010s throwbacks in Tampa, savoring non-alcoholic beverage tastings in St. Pete, or stepping back into baseball lore, the region’s got something for every kind of adventurer.
Start your Saturday bright and early in St. Petersburg at the Historic Baseball Trolley Tour (9:00 AM). Curated by SABR, this immersive trip traces St. Pete’s pivotal role as Major League Baseball’s Spring Training Capital. Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or just love local history, this tour, packed with stories and sights, is a winner.
Later in the day, stay in St. Pete for the High & Dry Festival: Summer Edition (2:00 PM). It’s a rare gem focusing on non-alcoholic and wellness drinks, featuring unlimited tastings. Ideal if you’re curious about innovative health-conscious beverages or simply want a laid-back, social atmosphere without the booze.
In Tampa, the Drew Marc Gallery Summer Collectors Event kicks off at 1:00 PM. This first-ever gallery-wide event offers original artwork up to 40% off, plus free art consultations—perfect for collectors or anyone looking to invest in local creativity.
Sunday is perfect to soak in local flavors and explore the outdoors. From beaches to breweries, consider planning an escape to Anclote Key Preserve State Park. Its off-shore lighthouse and peaceful anchorages make it an unmatched coastal retreat to breathe easy before the week ahead.
Bern's Steak House in Tampa remains the ultimate culinary experience with its renowned kitchen and wine cellar tours, culminating in an indulgent visit to the Harry Waugh Dessert Room. For craft beer fans, Arkane Aleworks offers a broad list that goes beyond sours, paired with a fun taproom vibe filled with games and rotating food pop-ups. Another stellar beer option is BarrieHaus Beer Co., known for its authentic lager house vibes, Bavarian-inspired brews, and spacious outdoor garden.
Coffee enthusiasts should not miss Banyan Coffee Co., where you can sip unique single-origin beans and even try bourbon barrel-aged cold brew while watching the roastery at work.
For comedy lovers, Kym Whitley brings her blend of stand-up and personal storytelling to Tampa Friday night—perfect for laughs before the weekend kicks off in full swing. Alternatively, the Don't Tell Comedy show offers a secret-location experience with no set lineup revealed until noon Friday, adding an adventurous element to your night.
